TUFTS DOWNS TRINITY WOMEN'S TENNIS
IN FINAL FALL DUAL MATCH
Newington, Conn. - Junior Barclay Gang (Miami, Fla.) won in singles and doubles to lead the visiting Tufts University Jumbos to an 8-1 win over the Trinity College Bantams in women's tennis action this afternoon at Newington Racquet Club.
Trinity finishes the fall dual match season with a 4-3 record while the Jumbos complete a perfect 8-0 fall campaign. Trinity senior co-captain Courtney Sargeant (North Attleboro, Mass.) and sophomore Brittany Olwine (Atlanta, Ga.) earned Trinity its only point with an 8-4 triumph at first doubles. The match was moved indoors due to heavy rains.
