Northampton, Mass. - Senior co-captain Karen Huebner (Burlington, Mass.) and senior Victoria Miller (St. Louis, Mo.) each won both their singles matches to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 6-3 win over the Smith College Pioneers and a split of two matches this weekend at Smith. Bowdoin downed Trinity in their match, also 6-3. Trinity, tied with Bowdoin for the No. 4 ranking in the Northeast and No. 16 in the nation, moves to 6-4 for the season.
Huebner also teamed with senior co-captain Courtney Sargeant (North Attleboro, Mass.) for a doubles win against Smith. Sargeant, sophomore Brittany Olwine (Atlanta, Ga.) and freshman Melissa White (Westwood, Mass.) won singles matches as well.
