TRINITY WOMEN'S TENNIS COMES IN FOURTH IN NEW ENGLAND

Amherst, Mass. - Trinity College sophomore Courtney Sargeant (Attleboro, Mass.) was one of four Bantam singles players and one doubles team to advance to the semfinal round in their flight and lead the Trinity College Bantams to a fourth-place finish at the New England Division III Championships at Amherst College this weekend.

Junior co-captain Rebekah Mate (Bellevue, Wash.), senior co-captain Olga Bogatyrenko (Kharkov, Ukraine), and freshman Sarah Krueger (Burlington, Vt.) advanced to the semifinals in the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 6 doubles flights, respectively.

The Bantams finished with a total of 22 points, which was five behind third-place Tufts and 30 behind first-place Williams. 25 teams competed in the tournament.
