TRINITY WOMEN'S SQUASH WINS
AT WILLIAMS IN SEASON OPENER

Williamstown, Mass. - Freshman Larissa Stephenson (Auckland, New Zealand) won of the team's five 3-0 matches in the contest in her collegiate debut to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 7-2 win over Williams College Ephs in the women's squash season opener for both teams this afternoon. The Bantams, ranked No. 1 in the nation, improve to 1-0 and extend their winning streak to 12 matches, while the Ephs, ranked No. 8 in the nation, fall to 0-1.

Stephenson won, 3-0, at No. 1 for Trinity, while classmates Maria Restrepo (Medellin, Colombia) and Rhea Bhandare (Bombay, India) won, 3-0, at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, in their collegiate debuts. Bantam senior co-captain Clare Austin (Banbury, England) and sophomore Meridy Vollmer (Cincinnati, Ohio) also posted 3-0 triumphs.
