TRINITY WOMEN'S SQUASH BEATS YALE
Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore Clare Austin (Banbury, England) dominated in her win at the No. 5 position to lead the Trinity College Bantams to an 8-1 win over the visiting Yale University Bulldogs in women's squash action this afternoon. Trinity, which is tied at No. 3 in the nation with Princeton and Brown, is now 3-0 , while the No. 7 Bulldogs fall to 3-1.
Austin defeated her Yale opponent, 3-0, while allowing just one point over the course of the three games. Trinity freshman No. 1 Amina Helal (Manchester, England) and senior No. 2 Janine Thompson (Port Elizabeth, South Africa) each blanked ranked opponents. Freshman Pam Saunders (Harrare, Zimbabwe), junior Mollie Anderson (Buffalo, N.Y.), and freshman Sarah Frank (Philadelphia, Pa.) also posted 3-0 wins for the Bantams.
