TRINITY WOMEN'S SQUASH BLANKS AMHERST

Hartford, Conn. - Freshman Carolynne Minkowski (Baltimore, Md.) did not allow a single point in the three games of her 3-0 win at No. 5 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 9-0 win over the visiting Amherst College Lady Jeffs in women's squash action this evening. The Trinity women, which are ranked No. 2 in the nation, improve their perfect record to 7-0, while Amherst falls to 10-8 with its second consecutive loss.

Eight out of nine Trinity players won 3-0 matches, including freshman No. 1 Amina Helal (Manchester, England) who allowed just one point in the three games. Senior captain No. 2 Janine Thompson (Port Elizabeth, South Africa), sophomore No. 3 Clare Austin (Banbury, England), freshman No. 4 Sarah Frank (Philadelphia, Pa.), and sophomore No. 6 Amy Brown (West Hartford, Conn.) each allowed five total points in their victories.
