TRINITY WOMEN'S SOCCER REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH WIN OVER COAST GUARD
Hartford, Conn.- Junior forward Lindsay Aquilina (Williamsville, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Leah Felis (Stowe, Vt.) each scored a pair of goals to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 4-2 victory over the United States Coast Guard Academy Bears in women's soccer action this afternoon. The Bantams remain unbeaten on the season pushing their record to 2-0-1, while the Bears even their record at 2-2.
Bantam freshman forward Caitlin Buzzell (Manchester, Conn.) chipped in with two assists, sophomore goalkeeper Katherine Mahoney (Wellesley, Mass.) stopped seven shots. The Bears were led by tri-captain Olivia Grant (Parkland, Fla.) with one goal, while junior goalkeeper Joan Pavlish (Wichita, Kansas) had nine saves in a losing effort.
