TRINITY WOMEN'S SOCCER LOSES AT WILLIAMS

Williamstown, Mass. - Sophomore forward Stacey Starner (Windham, N.H.) recorded a hat trick in the first 24:38 of the game to lead the Williams College Ephs to an 8-0 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's soccer action this afternoon.

Trinity falls to 3-4-1 and 1-3 in the NESCAC, while Williams, ranked No. 1 in New England and No. 3 in NCAA Division III, improves to 7-0.

Williams scored five goals in the first half and outshot Trinity, 20-10. Sophomore goalie Erin LeDell (Wayzata, Minn.) made a career-high 15 saves for the Bantams. Starner also assisted on a fourth goal, while senior Katie Bolduc (Waterville, Maine) added a goal and two assists for the Ephs.
