AQULINA HAT TRICK PACES TRINITY
WOMEN'S SOCCER AT SALVE REGINA

Newport, R.I.- Freshman forward Lindsay Aquilina (Buffalo, N.Y.) scored career-high three goals to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 7-1 win over the Salve Regina University Seahawks in women's soccer action this afternoon.

Trinity improves to 3-3-1 and 1-2 in the NESCAC, while Salve, ranked dips to 1-7-2.

The Bantams scoured early and often, building a 4-0 halftime advantage. Junior midfielders Bridget Dullea (Longmeadow, Mass.) and Kerry Hood (Londonderry, N.H.) took turns assisting each other on two goals, and Aquilina scored two others.

Hood, Aquilina, and freshman midfielder Kate Salottolo (Bethel, Conn.) scored second half goals for Trinity, along with Megan Mierzwinski (Norton, Mass.) of the Seahawks.
