BRADLEY HOLDS EASTERN SCORELESS IN 0-0 TIE
Willimantic, Conn.- Junior Sarah Bradley (Mansfield, Conn.) made 12 saves over 120 minutes to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to 0-0 tie against the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors in women's soccer action this afternoon. Trinity is now 0-0-1, while Eastern Connecticut, ranked No. 10 in New England, falls to 1-0-1.
The game, which was the third tie in the teams seven career meetings, was suspended for one hour late in the second half due to heavy rain and lightning. Warrior junior keeper Samly Phonesavanh (Killingly, Conn.) had nine saves.
