TRINITY SWEEPS WRESTLING TRI-MATCH

Hartford, Conn.- The Trinity College Bantams wrestling team defeated the Western New England College Golden Bears, 53-0, and New York Maritime Privateers, 49-5, this afternoon at Ferris Athletic Center.  Trinity, ranked No. 1 in New England, improves to 14-2 with the wins, while  Western New England salvaged a split for the day with its first victory of the season, 34-10, against New York Maritime to move to 1-17.

            Trinity sophomore Daniel Feltsman (New York, N.Y.) pinned his Privateer opponent 29 seconds into the first period in the 174-pound weight class in one of five Bantam victories that came by pin in the match.  Sophomore Dave Bucco (Paramus, N.J.) pinned his opponents in both matches for the Bantams.
