TRINITY'S FORESI FALLS A BIT SHORT
AT NCAA WRESTLING NATIONALS
Scranton, Pa.- Junior Mark Foresi (West Springfield, Mass.) lost his first two matches at 141 pounds, 6-5 in the first round and 12-2 in the consolation first round, while representing the Trinity College Bantams in the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships at First Union Arena this weekend.

Foresi, who was seeded No. 7 in the tournament field, was edged by Marc Israel, of Ithaca, 6-5 in his opening round match. Facing Jeff Linn, of Thiel, in the consolation opening round, Foresi lost by a score of 4-2. Israel ended up eighth and Linn finished seventh in the tournament. Foresi was making his third trip to Nationals, including an All-American season in 2000-01, after finishing second in New England in the 141-pound weight class. Augsburg won the event with 54.5 points.
