TRINITY WRESTLING SWEEPS FINAL MATCHES OF THE SEASON

Hartford, Conn.- Freshman David Bucco (Paramus, N.J.) won matches at
157 and 165 pounds, with a pin in his 157-pound bout, to lead the Trinity
College Bantams to a sweep in its wrestling matches against the visiting
Bridgewater State College Bears and Rhode Island College Anchormen.
Trinity, ranked No. 8 in New England Division III, defeated Bridgewater
State, 25-15, and Rhode Island College, 20-18.  The Bantams finish the
regular season with a 12-13 dual record.  The Anchormen edged the Bears,
24-22, in their match.  Rhode Island College, ranked No. 10 in New England,
finishes its dual season at 10-13 and the Bears end up at 9-16 for the year.

Bucco won, 10-5, in his 165-pound match against Rhode Island College
and pinned his Bridgewater State opponent in 1:12 at 157 pounds.  Junior
Mark Foresi (West Springfield, Mass.) and sophomore Wesley Connell
(Simsbury, Conn.) each won two matches on the day for the Bantams as well.
