TRINITY WRESTLING WINS ONE OF FOUR
MATCHES AT NORTH/SOUTH DUALS

Collegeville, Pa.- Senior captains Michael Marcucio (Derby, Conn.) won four matches to lead the Trinity College Bantams to one win and three close losses in the North/South Duals this afternoon at Ursinus College.

Trinity, which has a 2-4 dual record after the matches, blanked Baptist Bible College, 53-0, in its first match, but succumbed to Muhlenberg College, 27-23, in its second. The Bantams lost, 22-20, against York College, which was ranked No. 21 in NCAA Division III, and, 30-15, against Ursinus College to finish the day at 1-3.

Marcucio outscored his four opponents, 40-12, at 133 pounds, and fellow senior captain Steven Mulvihill (Melrose, Mass.) outscored opponents from Baptist Bible and Ursinus and pinned his adversary against York in the heavyweight division. Trinity freshmen Wesley Connell (Simsbury, Conn.) and Michael Doros (East Hartford, Conn.) each won three of four matches at 157 pounds and 184 or 197 pounds, respectively.
