TRINITY WOMEN'S LACROSSE EDGES
FRANKLIN AND MARSHALL
Orlando, Fla. - Senior co-captain midfielder Katie Bowman (Summit, N.J.) had a career-high, five goals to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 14-11 win over the Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats in women’s lacrosse action at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex this afternoon. Trinity improves to 5-0, while the Diplomats, formerly coached by Bantam mentor Kara Tierney, drop to 2-2.
Bantam sophomore attack Beatrice Gratry (Hunting Valley, Ohio) tallied four goals and three assists, while senior middie Elizabeth Miller (Weston, Mass.) notched three scores, and junior midfielder Betsy Wash (North Kingstown, R.I.) chipped in with two goals. Trinity came back from a 6-4 deficit at the half to score 10 times in the second stanza.
