WILLIAMS DEFEATS TRINITY IN WOMEN’S LACROSSE
Williamstown, Mass. - Junior goalie Abi Jackson (Jamaica Plain, Mass.) made
11 saves to lead the Williams College Ephs to a 17-8 win over the visiting
Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC)
women's lacrosse action this afternoon. Trinity falls to 7-3 overall and 2-3 in
the league and Williams improves to 6-1 and 4-1 in the league. Williams held the
ball for the majority of the first half.
Williams held the ball for the majority of the first half to take a 10-4 lead
into intermission, and scored seven more goals to the Bantams' four in the
second half. Trinity freshman attack Beatrice Gratry (Hunting Valley, Ohio)
had four goals to help keep Trinity alive, while senior tri-captain goalie Kelly
Jo Burnett (Pennington, N.J.) made 16 saves.
