Sports update, women's lacrosse at Tufts, 4/1/00
GREGORIAN HAT TRICK PROPELS TUFTS WOMEN'S LAX OVER TRINITY
Medford, MA -Junior co-captain Jennifer Gregorian (Wayland, MA) scored three
goals to lead the Tufts University Jumbos to an 8-4 victory over the
visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic
Conference women's lacrosse action this afternoon. Tufts improves to 3-1
and 1-0 in the NESCAC while Trinity falls to 1-2 and 0-1.
Tufts led 4-3 at the half, and held the Bantams scorless in the
second half. Freshman goalkeeper Ari Kristan (South Windsor, CT) saved 13
Trinity shots in the game. Junior Meghan Holtzman (Suffern, NY) added a
pair of goals for the Jumbos.
Trinity sophomore Anna Sullivan (Woodstock, VT) and freshman Laura
Davis (Bethesda, MD) each recorded a goal and an assist, and senior goalie
Kate Derosier (Longmeadow, MA) stopped 10 Tufts scoring attempts.
