AMHERST WOMEN'S LACROSSE REMAINS UNDEFEATED 
WITH WIN OVER TRINITY

Amherst, MA - Junior midfielder Kristin Osborn (Morristown, NJ) set new
College records with eight goals and 12 points to lead the Amherst College
Lady Jeffs to a 20-6 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New
England Small College Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action this
afternoon.  Amherst is now a perfect 9-0 for the season and 4-0 in the
NESCAC, while the Bantams fall to 3-7 and 2-6.
	Amherst junior attack Sarah Scheessele (Pittsburgh, PA) added a
career-high six goals for the Jeffs, incuding the game's first goal from
sophomore attack Anne Close (Limekiln, PA) 1:35 into the contest.  Trinity
remained within strikng distance for the majority of the first half thanks
to 10 saves in the period and 14 in the game by senior goalkeeper Kate
Derosier (Longmeadow, MA) and three goals by sophomore attack Ashley Taylor
(Washington, DC).  Senior attack Katherine Poulin (St. David's, PA) added a
hat trick for Amherst.
