WILLIAMS STOPS TRINITY
IN WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY

 

            West Hartford, Conn. – Senior defense Karen Thome (Wayzata, Minn.) notched a goal and an assist to lead the Williams College Ephs to a 5-1 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women’s ice hockey action this afternoon.  Trinity falls to 2-11-2 overall and in the NESCAC, while the Ephs, ranked No. 5 in the nation, improve to 12-6-1 overall and 8-3 in the league.  Sophomore Sabra Carman (Wilson Wyo.) scored for the Bantams and junior tri-captain Mimi MacKinnon (Glen Cove, N.Y.) stopped 46 shots in goal.
