BAD SECOND PERIOD SINKS TRINITY
WOMEN’S ICE HOCKEY AT WESLEYAN

Middletown, Conn. – Sophomore forward Anna Siliciano (Ithaca, N.Y.) had three goals and an assist to lead the Wesleyan University Cardinals to a 6-3 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women’s ice hockey action this evening.  Trinity falls to 2-8-1 overall and in the NESCAC, while the Cardinals improve to 3-9-1 overall and 1-8 in the NESCAC. 

Trinity took a 1-0 lead after one period on the first of three goals by freshman forward Tara Borawski (Simsbury, Conn.).  Wesleyan answered with five straight goals, including two by Siliciano, before Borawski found the net for a second time with :08 remaining in the period.  Siliciano and Borawski each finished their respective hat tricks in the third period.
