BALDWIN LEADS HAMILTON WOMEN
TO WIN AGAINST TRINITY ON THE ICE
Clinton, N.Y. - Freshman forward Zoe Baldwin (Nepean, Ontario) had one goal and two assists to lead the Hamilton College Continentals to a 6-3 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women’s ice hockey action this evening. Trinity falls to 1-7-1 overall and in the NESCAC, while the Continentals improve to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the league.
Trinity cut a 2-0 Hamilton advantage to a single goal 1:56 into the second period on the first of two goals bt freshman forward Tara Borawski (Simsbury, Conn.). The Continentals countered with three unanswered goals over the next 10 minutes en route to a three-goal triumph.
Freshman forward Jessica Keeley (Newton, Mass.) also scored for Trinity, with Borawski providing an assist, and junior tri-captain goalie Mimi MacKinnon (Glen Cove, N.Y.) made 27 saves in goal for the Bantams. Senior captain Jen Kroleski (New Rochelle, N.Y.) had 30 saves for Hamilton.
