TRINITY WOMEN'S ICE HOCKEY TIES
HOLY CROSS IN SEASON FINALE

West Hartford, Conn. - Freshman forward Victoria Fox (Locust Valley, N.Y.) had a goal and an assist and sophomore goalie Mimi MacKinnon (Glen Cove, N.Y.) made 37 saves to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 2-2 tie against the visiting College of the Holy Cross Crusaders in women's ice hockey action this evening at Kingswood-Oxford Rink. Trinity finishes its regular season with a 6-13-1 record, while Holy Cross dips to 9-11-3.

Trinity began the scoring just :49 into the game on a goal by junior Katelyn Bowman (Summit, N.J.) from Fox. Holy Cross tied the game at the 11:15 mark of the first period on a goal tallied by freshman Meghan Mahoney (Utica, N.Y.), but the Bantams went back ahead at the 18:48 mark of the second frame when Fox converted on passes from classmate Kristy Hadeka (Castleton, Vt.) and senior captain forward Jessica Martin (Fort Myers, Fla.). The game-tying tying goal came off the stick of Crusader junior forward Erin Williams (Ashland, Mass.) midway through the third period. Holy Cross junior goalie Jenelle DiSanto (North Reading, Mass.) stopped 29 shots, including 14 in the third period and four in overtime.
