WILLIAMS BLANKS TRINITY WOMEN ON THE ICE

Hartford, Conn. - Freshman forward Molly Wasserman (Minnetonka, Minn.) recorded a hat trick to lead the visiting Williams College Ephs to a 7-0 win over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's ice hockey action this evening. Trinity falls to 1-12-2 and 1-9-1 in the ECAC with its fifth straight loss. The Ephs improve to 13-2 overall and 11-2 in the league with their fifth consecutive win.

Williams, which outshot Trinity, 45-10, also received a pair of goals from Sophie de la Barra (Dallas, Texas) and a goal and two assists from Katherine Nichol (Wayzata, Minn.). Willams goalie Fern Senior (Syosset, N.Y.) made 10 saves to record the shutout, while Trinity freshman goaltender Mimi MacKinnon (Glen Cove, N.Y.) had 38 stops in a losing effort.
