TRINITY MEN'S VARSITY EIGHT WINS
FOUR-TEAM RACE IN WORCESTER
Worcester, Mass.- The Trinity College men's varsity eight crew, ranked No. 25 in the nation, finished its race with a time of 6:05.8 to place first against the University of New Hampshire, the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Bates College this afternoon on Lake Quinsigamond.
The Bantam women's varsity eight, ranked No. 10 in the Division III national poll, finished second behind New Hampshire but ahead of Bates, ranked No. 24 in Division III. Racing with a light tail wind, Trinity men finished almost two full seconds ahead of second-place Worcester Tech. The men's novice eight and women's novice four also won races.
