Worcester, Mass.- The Trinity College women's varsity eight crew, ranked No. eight in the nation, finished fourth in the petite final of the New England Rowing Championships with a time of 6:59.26 on Lake Quinsigamond this afternoon.

The Bantam men's varsity eight finished fifth in its preliminary heat and failed to qualify for the next round of races. Three other Trinity boats competed in petite finals with two finishing first. The Bantam men's novice eight finished fourth with a time of 6:20.04, while the men's second varsity eight and the women's novice eight each won the petite final with times of 6:20.43 and 7:19.30, respectively.
