MCCLOSKEY POWERS TRINITY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TO VICTORY AT ALBERTUS MAGNUS

New Haven, Conn. - Senior center Kate McCloskey (Uxbridge, Mass.) tallied game-highs of 27 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 75- 62 victory over the visiting Albertus Magnus College Falcons in women's basketball action this evening. Trinity improves to 2-1 with its second straight win, while the Falcons fall to 0-1 in their season opener.

Bantam sophomore forward Rebecca Bell (Colorado Springs, Colo.) contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds, and senior guard Elizabeth Bontempo (Granby, Mass.) added 12 points. Sophomore Natalia Perlaza (West Haven, Conn.) led Albertus with 18 points and four rebounds, while freshman Desiree Dixon (West Haven, Conn.) contributed 11 points.
