TRINITY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ROUTS ENDICOTT
Hartford, Conn. - Freshman forward Rebecca Bell (Colorado Springs, Colo.) totaled 11 points and six rebounds off the bench to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 63-35 win over the visiting Endicott College Power Gulls in women’s basketball action this evening at Oosting Gymnasium. Trinity improves to 10-7 and the Power Gulls drop to 8-11 with their second straight loss.
The Bantams held Endicott to five first-half field goals, taking a 35-10 lead into the locker room at intermission. Junior center Kate McCloskey (Uxbridge, Mass.) scored all 12 of her points in the first half for Trinity. Bantam senior forward Kate Toman (Santa Margarita, Calif.) scored a team-high 13 points and senior co-captain center Angela Iandoli (Worcester, Mass.) added seven points and seven rebounds off the pine. Senior forward Lindsay Cotter (Pelham, N.H.) paced the Gulls with 12 points and blocked seven shots.
