ROUTS ALBERTUS MAGNUS
Hartford, Conn. - Freshman forward Michelle McCaffrey (West Springfield, Mass.) scored a team-high 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and dished out five assists to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 75-52 victory over the visiting Albertus Magnus College Falcons in the women’s basketball action this evening at Oasting Gymnasium. Trinity, playing in its home opener, improves to 2-1 with its second win in a row. The Falcons drop to 1-1.
Senior guard Alison Hadden (Drexel Hill, Pa) added 10 points for Trinity, which led, 48-23, at the half and held the Falcons to 30.3 percent shooting from the field. Sophomore center Jennifer McDermott (North Branford, Conn.) paced Albertus Magnus with 12 points, while classmate Jennifer Respardo (Meriden, Conn.) notched 11 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists
