TILLEY HELPS WILLIAMS BEAT TRINITY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Williamstown, Mass.- Senior guard Elizabeth Tilley (Queens, N.Y.) had 20 points and seven assists to lead the Williams College Ephs to a 75-56 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's basketball action this evening. Trinity, which has lost three in a row, falls to 5-7 overall and 0-2 in the NESCAC. Williams improves to 8-6 and 2-0 in the league with their second win in two days.
Trinity, which shot just 32.7percent from the field and 24.0 percent in the second half, was outscored 37-20 in the second half. Junior guard Bridget Dullea (Longmeadow, Mass.) paced the Bantams with 18 points and grabbed six rebounds, while sophomore center Kate McCloskey (Uxbridge, Mass.) added 13 points and eight boards. Sophomore guard Kate Stumpo (Walpole, Mass.) joined Tilley in double figures with 20 points for the Ephs.
