MCCLOSKEY POWERS WOMEN'S BASKETBALL OVER SMITH

Northampton, Mass. - Sophomore center Kate McCloskey (Uxbridge, Mass.) lead all scorers with 24 points to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 55-26 win over the Smith College Pioneers in women’s basketball action this evening. Trinity evens its season record at 3-3, while Smith falls to 1-5 with its second consecutive loss.

McCloskey made 11 of field goals and added 14 rebounds, finishing as the only double-digit scorer for Trinity. Senior guard Jackie Siscone (Hammonton, N.J.) totaled four points, five rebounds, and five assists for the Bantams. Freshman guard Emmi Connolly (Shingle Springs, Calif.) and senior guad Elizabeth Rist (Easthampton, Mass.) scored nine points apiece for the Pioneers.
