MCCLOSKEY LEADS TRINITY WOMEN'S HOOPS
TO WIN OVER CONNECTICUT COLLEGE

Hartford, Conn. - Senior center Kate McCloskey (Uxbridge, Mass.) scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 74-57 win over the visiting Connecticut College Camels in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's basketball action this evening. Trinity improves to 6-13 overall and 1-5 in the NESCAC and breaks a nine-game losing streak. The Camels fall to 5-14 and 0-6 in the league with their fifth consecutive loss.

Trinity controlled the game throughout, opening up a 35-20 lead at the half. McCloskey made seven out of 10 shots from the field and nine out of 10 from the foul line, and senior guard Jackie Siscone (Hammonton, N.J.) added 19 points, including five three-pointers in 11 attempts for the Bantams.

Junior guard Bridget Dullea (Longmeadow, Mass.) totaled 17 points and 11 rebounds and classmate McKenzie Corby (Bethel, Conn.) pulled down 10 boards to give Trinity three players in double digits in rebounds. The Bantams outrebounded the Camels, 52-36, for the game.

Senior center Jessica Nowlin (St. Paul, Minn.) paced the Camels with 19 points, while freshman guard Erin Shields (Savannah, Ga.) scored 11 points and sophomore forward Margaret Guernsay (Essex, Conn.) notched 10 points and eight rebounds.
