COLBY ENDS POST-SEASON HOPES
FOR TRINITY WOMEN'S BASKETBALL

Hartford, Conn. - Sophomore center Sarah Walsh (Catonsville, Md.) had game-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the visiting Colby College White Mules to an 80-66 win over the Trinity College Bantams in New England Small College Athletic Conference women's basketball action this evening. Trinity falls to 7-14 overall and 2-6 in the NESCAC, while the White Mules improve to 18-5 and 7-1 in the league with their third consecutive win. The loss eliminates Trinity from contention for a NESCAC Championship Tournament bid.

Colby shot 51 percent from the field, including 55 percent in the first half, to keep pace with Amherst in first place in the conference with one game remaining. Walsh made seven out of 13 shots from the field and dished out seven assists, while senior guard Jen Hallee (Nashua, N.H.) scored 17 points for the White Mules. Colby sophomore guard Bianca Belcher (Lewiston, Maine) added 13 points and six boards.

Junior guard Bridget Dullea (Longmeadow, Mass.) paced Trinity with 15 points, six rebounds, and eight assists. Senior guard Jackie Siscone (Hammonton, N.J.) and sophomore center Kate McCloskey (Uxbridge, Mass.) scored 12 points apiece, and junior forwards McKenzie Corby (Bethel, Conn.) added 11 points and a team-high nine boards for the Bantams. Junior forward Angela Iandioli (Worcester, Mass.) also scored 11 points to give Trinity five double-digit scorers. Trinity shot well from the floor, sinking 26 out of 56 field goal attempts, but made only 12 out of 20 shots from the foul line.
