TRINITY VOLLEYBALL BLANKS ST. JOSEPH
West Hartford, Conn.- Senior co-captain setter Christine Horton (San Marino, Calif.) led a balanced effort with 21 assists and five digs to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 3-0 win over the St. Joseph College Bluejays in volleyball action this evening. Trinity evens its season record at 2-2.
The Bantams won the first two games of the match, 30-16, and, 30-13, respectively, before closing the match out, 30-27, in the third game. Bantam freshman Lucy Hollis (Mount Kisco, N.Y.) chipped in with a solid effort contributing 10 kills and 12 digs, while sophomore outside hitter Kate Hunter (Ross, Calif.) had eight kills and 10 digs to go along with three aces.
