TRINITY LOSES PAIR IN FIRST
DAY OF NESCAC SEEDING TOURNEY

Hartford, Conn.- Trinity College lost a pair of matches in the opening day of a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Seeding Tournament taking place this weekend at Oosting Gymnasium. Wesleyan University downed Trinity in the first match, 3-0, despite 14 digs and five aces by Bantam freshman outside hitter Lucy Hollis (Mount Kisco, N.Y.). In the nightcap, the Bantams and Bates College played a marathon, won by Bates, 3-2. Connecticut College also defeated Bowdoin, 3-1, at Trinity, while Colby edged Wesleyan, 3-2.
