AMHERST VOLLEYBALL WINS TWO OF THREE
NESCAC MATCHES AT WESLEYAN

Middletown, Conn.- Junior setter Christine Horton (San Marino, Calif.) totaled 139 assists and 23 digs in three matches to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 2-1 record in a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Volleyball Quad Match this weekend at Wesleyan University. Trinity defeated Middlebury, 3-2, and Hamilton, 3-1, before falling against Williams, ranked No. 3 in New England, 3-1, in its third match. The Bantams are now 10-9 overall and 4-2 in the NESCAC.

Trinity freshman outside hitter Katherine Hunter (Ross, Calif.) notched 53 kills and 49 digs in the three matches, while senior outside hitter Kristin Hagan (Kentfield, Calif.) had 44 kills and 36 digs and senior co-captain middle blocker Beth Landry (Troy, Mich.) finished with 24 kills, 31 digs, and nine blocks.
