BANTAMS SWEEP VOLLEYBALL TRI-MATCH
Head Coach Angela Mills Earns First Career Victory at Trinity
South Hadley, Mass.- Senior outside hitter Kristin Hagan (Kentfield, Calif.) totaled 34 kills and 14 digs to lead the Trinity College Bantams to 3-0 wins over the Mount Holyoke College Lyons and the Fitchburg State College Falcons in intercollegiate volleyball action this afternoon at Mount Holyoke.
The Bantams improve to 2-1 for the season, while Mount Holyoke moves to 1-1 and Fitchburg State drops to 0-2.
Trinity Head Coach Angela Mills (Amherst, Mass.) earned her first career victory with the Bantams in the first match, against the Lyons. Trinity, which did not lose a game in the two matches, received 15 kills, 12 digs, and four blocks from freshman outside hitter Katherine Hunter (Ross, Calif.) and 16 digs and 75 assists from junior setter Christine Horton (San Marino, Calif.) in the sweep.
