TRINITY VOLLEYBALL FALLS
AT EASTERN CONNECTICUT
Willimantic, Conn.- Seniors Christine Belanger (Ashford, Conn.) and Vicki Rondeau (Putnam, Conn.) totaled 32 kills to lead the Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors to a 3-1 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in women's volleyball action this evening at Francis E. Geissler Gymnasium. Trinity, which has lost three matches in a row, dips to 11-13, while the Warriors improve to 17-10.
After dropping the first two games, Trinity rallied to a 39-37 win in the third game marathon but fell, 30-20, in the fourth game. Bantam sophomore middle blocker Carolyn Walker (Winston-Salem, N.C.) had 10 digs, 15 kills, and six blocks, while freshman outside hitter Katherine Hunter (Ross, Calif.) added a team-high 15 digs and 13 kills.
