TRINITY VOLLEYBALL SALVAGES TOURNEY
WITH SHUTOUT OF WNEC
Middletown, Conn.- Junior co-captain Kristin Hagan (San Francisco, Calif.) earned All-Tournament honors as the Trinity College Bantams won one of three matches at the Wesleyan University Volleyball Invitational this weekend. The Bantams recovered from a 3-0 loss at Wesleyan on Friday and a 3-1 defeat to Smith College on Saturday, to blank Western New England College, 3-0, in its third game of the tourney.
Trinity is now 7-9 and 1-3 in the NESCAC. Wesleyan won three matches and the title to improve to 13-4, while Smith won two matches to improve to 4-9 and Western New England dropped three matches, dipping to 6-10.
