SMITH BLANKS TRINITY IN SOFTBALL
Northampton, Mass.. – Freshman Sarah Watson (Kent, Wash.) had a double and two singles with four RBI to lead the Smith College Pioneers to an 8-0 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams in softball action this afternoon.
Trinity, playing in its first game up north, falls to 3-7-1 with its fourth straight loss, while the Pioneers improve to 8-4 with their second win in two days. Freshman Sarah Churchill (Danvers, Mass.) took the loss on the mound for Trinity.
