CORVINO LEADS TRINITY SOFTBALL
TO WIN OVER MASS.-BOSTON

Cape Coral, Fla. - Freshman OF Amy Corvino (Florham Park, N.J.) tripled with the bases loaded to highlight a four-run, fourth inning and lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 10-6 win over the University of Massachusetts at Boston Beacons in the Gene Cusic Softball Classic this afternoon. Trinity, which dropped an 8-0 game against the Keene State College Owls earlier in the day, improves to 2-3 for the season. Keene State improves to 5-1 and the Beacons drop to 1-2. Corvino finished with four RBI against the Beacons, while freshman pitcher Sarah Churchill (Danvers, Mass.) went the distance on the mound to win her second game in two days for Trinity.
