HUNTER PITCHES TRINITY SOFTBALL
TO SPLIT IN FINAL DAY OF SPRING TRIP
Fort Myers, Fla.- Freshman right-hander Katherine Hunter (Ross, Calif.) tossed a four-hit shutout with nine strikeouts to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 1-0 win over the Division II Slippery Rock University Rock and a split of its two games in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Softball Classic this afternoon at the Lee County Sports Complex. Trinity, which lost, 4-0, against the Grinnell College Pioneers, finished its spring trip with a 2-8 mark.
