TRINITY SOFTBALL FALLS TO CLARK
Hartford, Conn.- Sophomore Holly Scavone (Worcester, Mass.) tossed a four-hitter to lead the visiting Clark University Cougars to a 7-1 win over the Trinity College Bantams in softball action this afternoon. Trinity drops to 2-12 with its fifth straight loss, while Clark improves to 9-2.
Junior third baseman Maureen Heneghan (Windsor, Conn.) collected two singles for Trinity, while freshman outfielder Alexandra Blumer (Washington, D.C.) added a double and senior Clare Bullock (Columbia, S.C.) added a single to account for Trinity's team's four hits.
