TRINITY'S BAK CONTINUES TO IMPRESS
IN WESLEYAN INVITATIONAL TRACK MEET
Middletown, Conn.- Sophomore Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) came in second in the 800-meter run and senior tri-captain Kate Klein (Huntington, Vt.) came in a close third, as the Trinity College Bantams competed in the Wesleyan Invitational Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Invitational this afternoon at Wesleyan University. Sophomore Kristi Wallin (Drexel Hill, Pa.) came in second in the 400-meters for the Bantam women, while junior Hillary Evens (West Suffield, Conn.) finished second in the 5000-meter run.
Senior tri-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) continued his dominance of the Division III track and field world with an impressive first place finish in the 1,500-meter run for the Trinity men. Freshman Nicholas Cantone (Carlstadt, N.J.) placed first in the javelin throw while senior tri-captain Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) came in second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase for the Bantams.
