BAK SETS NEW 800 METER RECORD AT NEW ENGLAND
OPEN TRACK MEET IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
Hartford, Conn.- Senior tri-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) finished third in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:52.75 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 29th place finish in the New England Division Open Men's Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend at the University of New Hampshire. Bak had the fastest time of the day in his preliminary heat, breaking his own Trinity record with a time of 1:51.55. Senior tri-captain Leeann Rheaume (Pittsfield, Mass.) highlighted the Women's Championships at New Hampshire with a ninth place performance in the 5,000 meters.
