LIGHT WEEKEND FOR TRINITY TRACK TEAMS
Bak Sets Personal Record in 1,500 Meters at USA Meet
Hartford, Conn.- Senior tri-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) finished eighth in the 1,500-meter run in the United States Track and Field Indoor Championships at the Reggie Lewis Center at Northeastern University this afternoon. The Bantam men's and women's distance medley relay teams and a few individuals competed in the New England Open Championships at Boston University and Smith College, respectively, this weekend. Bak set a personal record of 3:44.61 in the race and was two seconds-plus behind the winner. Fellow Bantam senior Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) finished 12th in the New England Open Championships.
