KANE WINS WOMEN’S 1,000 METERS
AT ECAC INDOOR TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

Hartford, Conn.- Sophomore Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) won the 1,000-meter run with a career-best time of 3:00.83 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 26th place finish in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Women’s Indoor Track and Field Championships at Tufts University this weekend. The Bantam men’s distance medley foursome recorded a time 10:05.62 to place fourth and help Trinity finish 32nd in the Men’s Championships. The Bantam women’s distance medley squad placed eighth overall. Kane was named All-ECAC for her outstanding performance.
