EMORD FINISHES SEVENTH IN 5,000 METERS FOR TRINITY MEN'S TRACK AT NEW ENGLAND OPEN

Boston, Mass.- Junior James Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) finished seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:06.96 to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 32nd place finish in the New England Open Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Northeastern University this afternoon. The Trinity women did not score as a team, although freshman Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) finished 10th in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
