TRINITY’S BAK WINS 3,000 METERS
IN NEW ENGLAND INDOOR TRACK MEET

Boston, Mass.- Junior tri-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) won the 3,000-meter, setting a new College-record with time of 8:19.78, to lead the Trinity College Bantams to a 13th-place tie in the New England Open Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships at Boston University this weekend.

Bak broke his own Bantam record of 8:29.82, set earlier this season, by over 10 seconds. Trinity junior Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) finished eight in the 5,000 meters at 15:00.09.
