BAK WINS 800 METERS AT MEN'S TRACK
NEW ENGLANDS WITH RECORD BREAKING TIME
Williamstown, Mass.- Junior tri-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) won
the 800-meter run with a College-record time of 1:53.22 to lead the Trinity
College Bantams to a 14th place finish in the New England Division III Men’s
Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Williams College this afternoon.
Bak was named All-New England for his efforts, along with three other Bantams
for finishing in the top eight in their respective event. Sophomore James
Porter (New Haven, Conn.) finished third in the 400-meter dash, freshman Jarrod
Bullock (Mattapan, Mass.) placed seventh in the long jump, and fellow
freshman James Sullivan (Sterling, Mass.) was eighth in the 10,000-meter
run for Trinity.
