TRINITY TRACK AND FIELD TEAMS EACH FINISH SECONDAT CONN COLLEGE INVITATIONAL

New London, Conn.- Freshmen Christina Kane (Springfield, Mass.) and Patty Allen (South Setauket, N.Y.) won the 3,000-meter run and the discus throw, while junior tri-captain Ryan Bak (Suffield, Conn.) and junior Jim Emord (Bridgewater, Mass.) won the 800-meter run and the 3,000-meter run, leading the Trinity College Bantams to second-place finishes in the Connecticut College Women's and Men's Outdoor Track and Field Meet this afternoon.  Kane finished the 3,000 meters in 11:45.7, while Allen flung the discus 37.18 meters. Bak finished the 800 meters in 1:56.6 and Emord crossed the finish line in the 3,000 meters at 15:39.3.
